Regarding our reanimation, it does require a positive belief and trust in the future-- that the coming decades will be at least as rational and hopeful as the present. Moreover, it requires an appreciation of life, it requires intense discerning, and lastly, it requires knowledge.
It will only be decades, not centuries, before we can cure the brain-dead. Besides being a major step on the route to cryonic re-animation, what what will this say about our (Western) ethos? Our global ethos?
